insights to college offers a comprehensive college counseling program and targeted advising for high school students in Marin, San Francisco, and beyond. We work with students through face-to-face meetings, email, text, phone, and Zoom. All services are tailored to meet the individual needs of the student.

initial consultation

This session provides freshman and sophomore students and their families with a high school academic and extracurricular activity plan for the upcoming school year. For sophomore families, it also includes an explanation of standardized testing options, the development of an initial testing strategy, and an overview of the college admissions process.

After the initial consultation, families have the opportunity to sign up for the design your purposeful year program and/or the essential insights package.

This foundational program helps students in 9th grade through the first half of 10th grade build the strongest profile possible during high school by enabling them to engage in meaningful academic and extracurricular activities where they can demonstrate dedication, leadership, and an ability to make an impact on their community.

Starting January of sophomore year, this comprehensive package provides the professional guidance and tools every student needs to undertake the daunting college selection and application process with confidence and ease. Our proven step-by-step approach increases the likelihood that each student will find the "right" college.

We give students access to their own personal portal to facilitate college research and manage all aspects of the process.

student-athletes

Our extensive athletic recruiting expertise allows us to help student-athletes develop a comprehensive strategy to pursue their sport at the next level, whether it is Division I, II, or III.

hourly advising

We occasionally work on an hourly basis to support students and families who only require assistance in specific areas of the admissions process.
